HEAD OF A PRACTICE:
1. If possible he should be from a service industry background.
2. Should have come up the ranks as a Software developer (preferably). Should know the SDLC very well and should be able to communicate the same clearly with customers (should be both technically savvy and also management-wise savvy)
3. Should have experience in creating RFP for the domain.
GOOD COMAIN KNOWLEDGE:
1. Should have good understanding of Healthcare domain particularly the US way.
2. Should have worked about 4 - 5 years exclusively in Healthcare IT, insurance side or hospital side etc.
GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF:
1. Revenue cycle knowledge.
2. EMR.
3. Hospital Information systems (HIS) large implementations.
4. Should have Delivery capabilities in a service industry.
5. Should have managed a large projects.
6. Exposure to Life - sciences.
7. Should have good contacts or networking across Healthcare ISV.
