JobStreet.com, the leading online recruitment company in Malaysia and listed on the Mesdaq market of Bursa Malaysia, won the Best Online Service Provider award by PC.com, in a glittering ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday.

The award was one of the categories of awards given out by PC.com, a premier consumer IT magazine in Malaysia, under the Best Product Award for 2005.

According to PC.com, JobStreet.com beat over 13 other websites including those from well-known financial and consumer banking powerhouse. The evaluation was done through a user survey by the magazine.

Dr. Albert Wong, Vice-President of Technology accepted the award on behalf of JobStreet.com. He said, “Part of our work was done under a grant from the Government's Multi-Media Super Corridor R&D Grant Scheme under the project - Building the International Human Capital Bank.

We appreciated their support as it provides impetus for dotcom companies like us to continuously improve our services to jobseekers and corporate clients.”
